Tumour of the testes usually produces painless swelling. Occasionally the testes tumour will cause sudden bleeding within the testes or are mildly traumised due to its size and the patient may produce sudden pain. Clinical examination will show large tender testes with a normal cord and the patient will most probably have prior history of large testes.

Ultrasound of the testes will confirm the diagnosis and the only treatment will be through surgery. Tumour markers will be needed to evaluate whether to determine the nature of the disease and to stage the tumour in order to decide whether adjuvant treatment is necessary.
