Neurogenic bladder is the type of urinary condition in people who lack bladder control due to a brain, spinal cord or nerve problem. Their nerve damage can be due from multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease or even diabetes.

It is a serious condition but requires patients to be monitored closely. They will need the following treatment plan:

• Lifestyle changes (delay or schedule voiding, dietary changes)

• Drugs (need to seek urologist consult)

• Catherization

• Surgery (urine diversion surgery or Bladder augmentation aka augmentation cystoplasty)
